Hidroelectrica Resumes Electricity Auctions, Forgoes Down Payment

Romania’s insolvent power producer Hidroelectrica has rescheduled for November 14-20 a series of electricity auctions in a bid to raise 391 million lei (EUR86.7 million), while renouncing a mandatory 50% down payment requirement.
