How Come Petrom’s Profit Margins Are Higher Than ExxonMobil And BP’s?

Petrom, the largest company in Romania, left the market in awe on Wednesday when it announced EUR887 million in net profit against EUR5.3 billion revenue. With these financial indicators, Petrom has become a twice more profitable company than giants ExxonMobil and BP and is looking down on the margins of Italy’s Eni and the net margin of its Austrian owner, OMV.
