Petrom Posts Stronger Results Despite Falling Fuel Demand

OMV Petrom (SNP.RO), the largest Romanian company, reported rising financial figures again though the market was characterized by shrinking fuel demand. Price hikes offset the consumption decline, though, and Petrom saw its sales go up by 23% and profit rise by 14% in the first half.
