Romania To Grant RON174M State Aid In 2014 For Coal Mine Closure Scheme

The Romanian government Tuesday said it plans to disburse a new 174 million lei (EUR39 million) subsidy in 2014 for the state-run mine closing company Societatea Nationala de Inchideri Mine Valea Jiului (SNIMVJ), which will be used in a restructuring program for non-viable coal mines.
