After Dobrogea was invaded by investors who developed or planned to develop wind farm projects (the installed capacity of wind farms in the region nears that of a reactor at the nuclear plant in Cernavoda) experts believe that solar power is the new trend in renewable energy for three main reasons: technology becomes cheaper, power production is predictable and aid schemes are extremely lavish.
