Transgaz 1Q Net Profit Rises 37% To RON248.8M

Romanian state-run natural gas pipeline operator Transgaz Medias (TGN.RO) Wednesday said its net profit rose 37% on the year to 248.8 million lei (EUR56 million) in the first quarter, helped by higher tariffs for reserved transport and increased revenue from local transport services.
