Ford Says Romanian Clunkers’ Scheme Could End Up Paying For Clunkers From Abroad

Zoltan Brassai, general manager of Ford Romania, who is in charge of the company’s sales, is concerned that the Romanian “Rabla” clunkers scheme could become a scheme where old cars are replaced with even older imported cars. The “cash for clunkers” scheme will start in mid May and one voucher will cost EUR1,500 from EUR900 last year.
