The lack of state-of-the-art equipment in public hospitals, the shortage of physicians in the medical facilities in various parts of the country due to migration abroad and to the private sector and the squandering of public funds through procurement fraud are but some of the problems of Romania’s healthcare sector, as highlighted by the speakers ZF Health & Pharma '16 summit on Tuesday.
