Romtelecom Chief Technology, Operations Officer Resigns Come June 30

The chief technology and operations officer of Romanian telecom provider Romtelecom, Wolfgang Breuer, will resign starting June 30, seeking new professional opportunities in Germany.

"The position left vacant will be filled following a selection process set to start soon," the company announced in a news release.

Breuer joined the Romtelecom team in August 2008 and he coordinated the operations, technology and implementation departments within the company.

Romtelecom is part of Greek group OTE, and it us the largest local player on the fixed telephony segment.
