Indian Business Dynasty Buys Operations Of Romanian Farmer

The Gupta family, one of the most powerful business dynasties in India besides Lakshmi Mittal’s, has bought two farms totaling 2,500 hectares of land in Contesti, Teleorman (southern Romania). The farms had been previously held by the Chivu family and run by Victor Chivu, one of the most vocal farmers in the country.
