Three low-cost airlines – Blue Air, Wizz Air and Ryanair, are vying for the top spot now held by national airline Tarom and national railroad passenger carrier CFR Calatori on the segment of passenger transport to and from Bucharest and Iasi, Timisoara and Cluj.
