Posta Romana Accumulates Losses Of Almost RON500M In Three Years

The total losses of the Romanian postal company in the past three years amount to 484 million lei (EUR106.6 million) and the company risks to collapse if its restructuring plan is not successful. Despite having the largest distribution network on the market and a monopoly on deliveries up to 50 grams, the state-run postal company barely manages to keep afloat. The revenues of the company are on a decline, while its competitors come with attractive mail and parcel delivery services.
