The number of real estate transactions in Romania reached almost 50,000 in the first two months of the year, according to data of the National Union of Notaries Public in Romania (UNNPR).

The number of real estate transactions in Romania reached almost 50,000 in the first two months of the year, according to data of the National Union of Notaries Public in Romania (UNNPR).

The number of realty transactions rose to 23,560 in January 2011, from 21,471 in the same interval last year, and to 26,400 in February this year, from 25,877 in February 2010.

Over 30,000 real estate transactions were closed din December 2010.

Last year, the number of realty transactions decreased to 352,272, from 352,541 in 2009.
