Romanian Construction Industry Lost Over 100,000 Employees In 7 Years

Romania's construction industry, which has contracted by around 45% since the beginning of the crisis, lost around 109,000 employees between 2008-2014, namely almost one quarter of the entire headcount, having only 349,000 people left currently, according to National Statistics Institute data.
