Cigarettes In Romania Might Cost RON2 More Per Pack If Government Doubles Sin Tax - Producers

Romania’s Government plans to double the sin tax for tobacco from EUR10 per 1,000 cigarettes to EUR20/1,000 cigarettes, which will increase the price of a pack of cigarettes by about 2 lei (EUR0.44), according to the representatives of the tobacco industry.
