Expansion Helps Carrefour Get Near 2008 Sales Peak

French retailer Carrefour, which operates both hypermarkets and supermarkets in Romania and is the third leading retailer after Metro and Kaufland, posted EUR1.184 billion in sales last year, up 5.4% on the year and close to the 2008 sales peak.
