The Romanian economy and consumption are stagnating at present because of problems in Europe, says Antonio di Berardino, the Italian who has been running the network of Winmarkt shopping centers for over five years. Also to blame are the tough measures the IMF has taken in Romania, such as cutting the budget deficit below 3% and cutting public sector wages.
