High Rents Drove Dozens Of Cafes Out Of The Market

In the past two years the crisis has wiped dozens of coffee shops off the local map. Some chains went insolvent (Costa Coffee and Cup&Cino), others cut their number of shops considerably (Turabo). The reasons that led to this situation were the rents, the high prices and the fact that the culture of going out is still in its early stages in Romania.
