Kaufland Is Officially Largest Player On Retail Market, Metro Loses Supremacy After 15 Years

German retailer Kaufland, with a EUR1.31 billion turnover in 2011, has officially become the largest company in Romanian modern retail after the last two major retail companies, Kaufland and Selgros, published their 2011 financial results on the Finance Ministry's website.
