Over EUR1B Deals Transformed Romanian Grocery Retail In Past Decade

German-held discount store chain Lidl is in talks to buy two XXL Mega Discount stores from fellow German group Rewe in Romania in a EUR5 million to EUR10 million deal, market sources say. The deal, which should be signed in about a month, should round off a decade of deals in the local grocery retail.
