Romanians Export Expensive Leather Shoes, But Wear Cheap Chinese Ones

Around seven out of ten pairs of shoes imported by Romanians are made of plastic, rubber or textiles, with just one out of five pairs made of leather. Thus, Romanians mainly wear “made in China” products (70% of total footwear imports) worth only several dollars.
