Romanian private medical services provider Sanador Thursday inaugurated a 290-bed hospital in Bucharest, following an investment of EUR40 million.

Romanian private medical services provider Sanador Thursday inaugurated a 290-bed hospital in Bucharest, following an investment of EUR40 million.

The hospital stretches over a surface of 18,000 square meters and offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including in areas less tapped by private clinics, such as interventional cardiology, said Doris Carmen Andronescu, general manager of Sanador.

Founded in 2001, Sanador runs one hospital, three clinics and two laboratories in Bucharest.

In 2010, the medical healthcare provider reported turnover of EUR11 million, up 10% on the year. For 2011, the company estimates EUR15 million to EUR16 million in turnover.
