Weak Expansion For DIY Market This Year – Only Eight New Stores

The DIY retail networks this year have put the brakes on their local expansion, opening only eight stores, including five by local network Dedeman. French network Bricostore opened one store, in Severin, as did Austria's BauMax, in Bucharest, and France's Leroy Merlin, with their first Romanian store, in Bucharest as well. German networks Praktiker, Hornbach and OBI have stayed away from openings in 2011.
