Romania Sends 40% Of Hygienic Sanitary Paper Output Abroad

Consumption of hygienic sanitary paper in Romania has stalled in the past two years at 108,000 tons, or 5.5 kg/capita, after production doubled in the 2004-2010 period amid investments of domestic producers, reveals a ZF survey based on data provided by the Patronizing Organization for Pulp and Paper Industry (Rompap), which groups companies operating on a market valued at 473 million dollars (EUR365 million).
