Romania Starts RON400M Funding Program For Large Companies

Large companies wishing to invest in production units, equipment procurement and technology can access non-reimbursable funds through a program worth a total 400 million lei (EUR97 million), the Romanian Economy Ministry said Friday.

Companies may apply for funding between June 2 and August 16, at the ministry.

Funding is co-financed by the European Union and the financing cap per project stands at RON200 million.

Applicants need to be Romania-registered, with at least 250 employees or a net annual turnover of more than EUR50 million. (EUR1=RON4.1333)
