ANIS: Software And IT Services Market Totals EUR2.42 B In 2015, Exports Account For 60%

The Romanian software and IT services market totals EUR2.42 billion in 2015, of which the local services reach EUR974 million, or 40%, while exports account for 60%, said Valerica Dragomir, CEO of Romanian Employers Association in the Software Industry (ANIS).

 Dragomir told ZF Digital conference Tuesda that, in the last five years, software and IT services exports rose by EUR1 billion and the local market rose by EUR100 million, while 32% of the value goes to the public administration, which controls the market’s dynamics.

At the same time, 92% of the export is represented by services.

Dragomir also said that the small and medium-sized enterprises are important clients as they require a large quantity of products and trigger growth for Romanian companies.
