Iasi has become one of the biggest hi-tech industry centers in Romania along with Bucharest, Cluj and Timisoara, with its 20,000 employees in the IT industry, in addition to more than 2,500 graduates every year. Many people living in Bucharest are moving to Iasi, for the quality of life and the lower living costs.
