IMF Asks Romania To Begin Downsizing At Postal Operator; At Least 600 Layoffs Expected

Romanian state postal company Posta Romana will lay off at least 600 employees by the end of March and will continue to downsize its network, closing more than 135 offices, as per the agreement between the Government and the International Monetary Fund, following the latest review.
