IT Supplier Romsys Sales Jump To EUR42M In 2010

Romanian IT supplier Romsys, part of Austrian group New Frontier Holding, posted sales of EUR42 million in 2010, compared to some EUR24.5 million the year before, the company announced Tuesday.

"In 2010 we've had to show flexibility. (…) Internally, we have consolidated our team and appointed new people to key positions, with a new vision and approach," company chief executive officer Horatiu Berdila said in a news release.

For this year, the company plans to increase its market share through consolidation and development of new performance management and analysis solutions.

Based on the increase registered in 2010, the company focused on widening and developing its team, which now has 340 members.

Romsys was founded in 1993 by Marius Cojanu and taken over in 2007 by Austrian New Frontier Holding.
