Nokia Paid Less Than The Expected EUR100M In Taxes

Nokia paid EUR24 million in taxes to Romania's budget in 2009, and over EUR25 million in 2010, according to Viorel Gavrea, general manager of Tetarom, the industrial park where the Nokia plant was built. He also said the overall investments in developing infrastructure for building the plant amounted to EUR12 million, paid from the budget sources and from funds of suppliers in the region.
