Romanian IT services and consultancy provider Pentalog estimates a 25% increase in sales to around EUR25.5 million in 2012, from around EUR20.5 million predicted for this year.

"We expect sales of some EUR20.5 million and total staff of over 700 employees at group level in 2011," said Monica Jiman, deputy CEO of Pentalog Romania. "We will continue to grow in both volume and employee numbers," she told ZF Transilvania.

Additionally, the company wants to increase its staff to 850 employees by the end of 2012, of which 600 will service its local offices in Romania.

Pentalog hired 150 staff in the first nine months of 2011. The company is headquartered in Orleans, France, and has offices in Romania, Germany, Israel, Moldova and Vietnam.

The company operates five offices in Romania, in Brasov (opened in 1999), Bucharest, Iasi, Sibiu and Cluj-Napoca.

In Cluj, Pentalog plans to increase its staff numbers to around 100-150 people in the next two years and readies total investments of approximately EUR1 million. Available positions include Java, PHP, Magento, .NET programmers, WebDesigner, business analyst, software tester and Android/iPhone programmer.
