RCS&RDS Gets EUR200M Syndicated Loan From BCR, CEC, Credit Suisse

Romanian internet and telecom operator RCS&RDS has taken out a EUR200 million syndicated loan from Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), CEC Bank and Switzerland’s Credit Suisse.

This is the first installment of a larger EUR300 million syndicated loan RCS&RDS hired Credit Suisse to negotiate on its behalf.

Market participants said the Swiss bank provided EUR75 million of the syndicated loan, while BCR and CEC contributed by EUR100 million and EUR25 million, respectively.

The annual interest rate exceeds 5%, the participants said.
