Samsung Romania: Smartphone Sales Up 85% In January-August

Romania’s mobile phone market rose by 25% in volume on the year in the first eight months of 2014 and sales of smartphones saw a spectacular increase of about 85%, which shows the move away from feature phones is picking up speed, says Alexandru Munteanu, head of the telecom division of Samsung Electronics Romania.
