Telecom Giants Gather To Discuss How And For How Much Romania Will Sell Mobile Telephony Licenses

Representatives of Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Vodafone Group will on Tuesday share their opinions on the hottest topic on the telecom market: the tender that will decide which carriers will offer mobile telephony in Romania over the next 10-15 years. Within the next few months, the local government will decide how much money to ask for the licenses and what terms it will impose on those wishing to buy. According to information available so far, authorities expects revenues of EUR0.5 billion from this auction.
