Zentiva Mulls Paying RON40M In Dividends For 2015

Romanian drugmaker Zentiva Bucharest (SCD.RO), a unit of France’s pharmaceutical group Sanofi, wants to pay dividends of approximately RON0.0959 per share to shareholders, totaling RON40 million.

Zentiva’s dividends will have a yield of 5.26%.     

In 2015, the company reported a turnover of RON395.26 million, up a mere 0.3% on the year, while its profit fell 16.7% to RON45.17 million.

Zentiva’s majority shareholders are Cyprus-based Venoma Holdings Limited, with a 50.98% stake and Dutch-based Zentiva NV, with 23.92%.

Zentiva is listed on the Bucharest stock exchange and has a market value of RON758.86 million.
