BT Analyst: Romania 2018 Annual Average Jobless Rate Seen At 4.5%, The Lowest Level Of The 1990s

Romania’s annual average unemployment rate could decrease to 4.5% in 2018, the lowest level in the 1990s, but is expected to rise towards 4.8% in 2019 and 5.4% in 2020, Andrei Radulescu, macroeconomic analysis director with Banca Transilvania (BT) said Tuesday, citing BT’s central scenario.
