INS: Romania Average Net Wage Up 5% In March

Romanian average net salary rose 4.9% to 1,706 lei (EUR390) in March, from RON1,626 a month earlier, the statistics institute INS said Thursday.

Gross average salary went up 4.9% to RON2,356, due to holiday and performance bonuses, the data showed.

In March compared with the year-earlier month, Romanian average net salary rose 5.5% in nominal terms. (EUR1=RON4.4352)
