Romanian industrial sales fell 11.3% on the month in April, due to lower sales in all sectors, the country’s statistics institute INS said Monday.

Sales in the mining industry declined 16.3% on the month in April, while manufacturing sales were down 11.1%, the data showed.

By sector, sales in the capital goods industry fell 22.7% in April from a month earlier, while sales in the intermediate and durable goods industries decreased 9.4% and 8%, respectively.
