INS: Romania Unemployment Rate Slightly Down To 7.2% In February

Romania's unemployment rate declined slightly to 7.2% in February compared with 7.3% in the previous month, seasonally adjusted data from the statistics institute INS showed Tuesday.

In February 2013, the jobless rate stood at 7.2%, as well.

The number of unemployed people was estimated at 721,000 in February, from 730,000 the month before. Male unemployment rate was 7.7%, while female unemployment reached 6.6%.

The figures are based on the definition recommended by the International Labor Organization (ILO).
