Romania Executives Expect Growth In All Sectors Over Summer

Executives in Romania expect activity in all economic sectors to continue to grow in the June-August period compared with the previous three months, the statistics institute INS said in a survey Monday.

The polled managers predict a solid growth in retail and constructions, while a moderate increase is expected in the manufacturing industry and services.

The number of employees is expected to increase in the retail sector during the summer season, but is seen down in services, while staying steady in the other sectors.

In the June-August period, prices in the construction and retail sectors are expected to rise, while industry and services prices are seen rather stable.

INS interviewed 8,780 managers in manufacturing, constructions, retail and services sectors.
