Romania’s Average Net Wage Rises Four Times In 10 Years

Romania’s average net wage reached 1,513 lei per month in 2012, four times as much as the ten years ago. But while the average net wage went up by 300% between 2002 and 2012, inflation rose by over 100% during the same period, so the actual increase in the average net wage was 200%.
