Romanian Central Bank Cuts Key Rate to 1.5%

Romania's central bank on Wednesday decided to lower its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 1.5% a year from 1.75% starting August 6. The bank also lowered its lending and deposit facilities rates by 25 basis points.
