Romania’s reported value of the volume index of GDP per capita, calculated on the basis of the Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), stood at 78% in 2023, relative to the European Union (EU) average, followed by Poland and Hungary, with 77% relative to the EU average, data from Romania's statistical office INS show on Friday (Jan. 17, 2025).
