7,000 Individual Farmers Own 8% Of Romania’s Arable Land

Almost 7,000 individual farmers together exploit 700,000 hectares of land, i.e. 8% of the arable land in Romania, according to data of the Agriculture Ministry. The business done by these people is also one of the reasons why agriculture-based economic growth did not reflect in an increase in state budget revenues.
