Fund Managers Were Too Busy With Reviews In January To Attract EU Funds

The heads of management authorities in charge of drawing EUR19.7 billion in EU funds come with different arguments when it comes to explaining why no payments were made in January: some say either the European Commission or beneficiaries are to blame, others argue that the beginning of the year is a time when management authorities are busy reviewing last year’s performance and making payment forecasts for this year.
