Comarnic-Brasov (58 km) and Craiova-Pitesti (121 km) highways, as well as Bucharest’s southern bypass route (48 km), are set to be built under concession, but the huge costs accepted by the Romanian Government (between EUR14 and EUR42 million/km) as a starting point in negotiations raise many questions.
