Inefficient Administration Causes Romania EUR1.3 Billion Losses Every Month

The flawed state management translates into losses of EUR1.3 billion each month (EUR18 billion per year) as Romania lacks three main abilities: the skill to attract EUR400 million that it should take from the European Union; the ability to curb budget spending on goods and services and personnel, which swell public debt by EUR800 million per month; an efficient management of state-owned enterprises, which generate EUR100 million in losses every month.
