Lowering Referendum Quorum To 30% From 50% Constitutional If Not Applied For One Year

Romania’s Constitutional Court on Wednesday decided the law lowering the required quorum on national referendums to 30% from 50% of eligible voters is constitutional as long as the measure is not applied within the first year of the change.
