One Person Injured During Anti-Terrorist Drill At Shooting Ground In S Romania

One person has been injured Tuesday morning in an explosion which occurred in a Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) training center in Chitila, near capital Bucharest, SRI spokesman Marius Bercaru said.

According to Bercaru, the blast took place during a drill conducted by the anti-terrorist Brigade, when a smoke grenade exploded.

The person injured was rushed to the hospital, said Bercaru.

Sorin Sava, the head of the SRI Press Bureau, said the blast was not followed by a fire.

According to the High Court of Justice, investigations into the case will be carried out by military prosecutors.
