Parliament Committee Stalls Ratification Of Treaties Signed With Syria In 2010

The two treaties Romania signed with Syria in November 2010, one regarding extradition and another concerning the mutual transfer of people sentenced to prison, are blocked in Parliament, which considers that their ratification, given the current situation in Syria, would affect Romania’s image.
